Homenaje a Juan Gómez "Juanito" is a memorial located in a coastal town in southern Spain. This place pays tribute to Juan Gómez González, better known as "Juanito", a famous Spanish footballer who played for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. The monument is a life-size bronze statue of Juanito, with a football at his feet, and stands in a square that also bears his name. The statue was unveiled in 2002, almost a decade after his tragic death in a car accident.
